In addition to its outstanding option analytics, your Essex Option Pro system comes complete with crisp clear Bar Chart graphing capabilities at no additional charge. The bar chart graphs also include the most popular indicators such as Bollinger Bands,
Stochastics, Relative Strength Index and Moving Averages. Option Pro's graphs contain color-coded indicator readings - if the close is above the moving average, the value turns BLACK. If the close is below the average, the value turns RED.
In addition to Bar Chart graphs, Option Pro also creates Volatility Graphs, which display the range of historical volatility for any stock, index or futures contract. Create a historical Volatility Graph with just a few mouse clicks. Go as far back in time as your data allows - you'll see exactly where volatility has been for the underlying over time. With Option Pro's Volatility Graphs, there's no need to guess whether the current volatility is high, low or really off the charts - you will know at a glance !
Daily Reports
We know that most investors have a "9 to 5" job in addition to their trading
activities. With that in mind, we've designed a series of detailed reports which can be printed out at night and taken to work the next day. You can easily enter your option positions into Option Pro or use a position file you've previously created. Just tell Option Pro the range of underlying prices you wish to cover in the Daily Report - the report is printed in just minutes.
No matter whether NIFTY is up 30 points tomorrow or the SATYAM is down 10, you will know what any option - as well as your whole option portfolio - is worth! Option Pro's Daily Reports module will also calculate the value of commonly traded option spreads (including time, vertical, butterfly and jelly roll and straddle spreads).
You can also apply the Static Evaluator's Volatility Skew patterns in Daily Reports
for extra precision. With Daily Reports, you will always know exactly what a given option (and your personal portfolio) is worth - even when you aren't in front of your computer.
